Nine years! That's a pretty long time, for a blog! And as I always say in my birthday posts - time sure flies It doesn't feel like it's been that long. I know the blog hasn't been as ambitious this past year, and I sort of regret having put my Swedish version of the blog to rest for now, but I'm also pretty proud that I still post regularly and I'm so happy that I have the time and energy to do that. I really love blogging - and especially the interaction with all the wonderful people out there, who read and sometimes comment or e-mail. I love you guys!
The cake - clearly not homemade, but bought in our local supermarket this morning. Reasonable ambitions, right? Anyway. It's a milk chocolate mousse and it's really very tasty. My dear husband happens to be away on a short business trip, but I look forward to a cake-party with the kids later on today.
Other cakes I've actually made, in my more ambitious days, for the blog's birthday: Princess Cake, Black Forest Cake (Swedish style), Budapest Roll, Oscar II:s cake , vanilla bean jelly roll and last year a candy-decorated hazelnut-banana meringue cake.
